Wouldn’t it be so helpful if you had tools and positions to create space specifically for where the baby is currently in the pelvis?

Wouldn’t it be so helpful if you had tools and positions to create space specifically for where the baby is currently in the pelvis? At Body Ready Method®, we do not believe that one move works for any and all stages of labor. Heck, research says even the way you squat varies according to where the baby is in the pelvis (if you want it to be effective!).

In the video below, Lindsay McCoy, BRM® Co-Founder, experienced Doula and Exercise Physiologist will go through positions to create space at each level of the pelvis in hopes of better supporting you as you support your birthing families!

Not sure what the levels of the pelvis are?

There are 3 levels of the pelvis that baby must navigate through during vaginal childbirth. Each of these levels requires different movements and positions in order to create more space for more efficiency in childbirth. What opens the top of the pelvis will narrow the bottom, and vice versa! Learning how to encourage the pelvis to open at the appropriate time is truly game changing.
