Julia is an Advanced DONA Certified Birth Doula & Birth Doula Trainer, a Certified Lamaze Educator, and an Active Certified Body Ready Method^® Pro.

She co-owns a lovely community-based doula agency and teaching center, Beautiful Birth Choices, based in Rochester, NY. Her background is in social work and mental health and she has uniquely combined that with her passion for helping to guide new families through the best possible healthy parent/healthy baby scenario as they define it. A lifelong learner, Julia also has experience and training in being a home birth assistant, pregnancy and infant grief and loss, and Evidence Based Birth.
