However, with this can come a lot of bad information and false promises. What should you do/not do? Can you really prevent diastasis recti (abdominal separation)? What is the core’s role during childbirth? Lauren and Lindsay deep dive into this topic, cut through the noise and BS and get straight to what you need to know about the prenatal core.
Lindsay McCoy has worked with hundreds of families as both a childbirth educator and a birth doula. She believes that pregnant people deserve to feel strong, beautiful and empowered through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. She is passionate about giving pregnant people the tools to have easier pregnancies, births, and recoveries and looks forward to working with you to offer this to your clients.
Lauren Ohayon is a movement specialist and an internationally recognized Yoga + Pilates teacher. She specializes in core and pelvic floor health. Lauren is also a trained childbirth educator and is passionate about shifting the idea that pregnancy is not an illness. She wants to empower pregnant people to believe that we do have what it takes to be a part of this unique process, including the many innate shifts, changes, and transitions.
